Job Overview

Reporting to Supply Chain Officer – Warehouse, the Supply Chain volunteer is responsible for the efficient coordination and management of all warehousing, assets and inventory management functions for IRC’s office in Imvepi. 

Duties and Responsibilities.  

Warehousing and Inventory

• Receive completed store request forms and prepare the goods for issuance.   

• Ensure goods, equipment’s are signed for receiving on the request form (office expendables) or waybill (all other items).

• Carryout stock taking at warehouse level. 

• Prepare monthly report for the expendables store outlining all stock movements and remaining balances.

• On a monthly basis, work with the Supply Chain Officer to reconcile the Warehouse reports and Asset tracking sheet and equipment issuance forms.

• Update the stock record cards regularly.

• Conduct routine inventory inspection and submit report to the Supply Chain Officer in a timely manner.

• Work on any other task assigned by the Supply Chain Officer.

Asset Management

• Update the Asset register and inventory list and work closely with SCO to share the monthly reports.

• Monitor security of IRC’s assets and supplies.

• Receive completed store’s request forms and prepare the assets for issuance.   

• Ensure assets are signed for received on the Equipment issue and receipt form.

• On a monthly basis, work with the Supply Chain Officer & in collaboration with IT to reconcile the asset register and Asset tracking sheet and equipment issuance forms.

• Update the asset register regularly.

• Conduct routine asset inspection and submit reports to the Supply Chain Officer and and in collaboration with IT staff in a timely manner.

• Keep an accurate and up-to-date record of asset inward and outward movement in the Asset register.

• Work on any other task assigned by the Supply Chain Officer.

Fleet Management 

• Work with the Supply Chain Assistant- Fleet and Head driver to ensure that all vehicles carry the required on-board documentation and that all documents are kept current (including insurance). 

• Inspect and record condition of vehicles by maintaining daily checklists file.

• Ensure all vehicles are properly cleaned daily. 

• Work on any other task assigned by the Supply Chain assistant.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Diploma in Procurement and Logistics Management or Equivalent to any social science course

The Marketing and Communications Manager is part of an important team that creates and executes property-level communications to our customers. Under the leadership of the Director of Marketing and Communication, this role promotes on-brand messaging to customers through traditional, digital, and social media channels all with the goal of enhancing the image of the hotel. This role helps build direct marketing plans, targeted campaigns, and activated channels to the end of driving consumer awareness and preference, increasing market share, and building broader portfolio and brand awareness. This role focuses on showcasing Food and Beverage promotions, both to hotel guests and to local patrons. As part of the Marketing and Communication team, this role is fully connected into resources in their region; Marketing and Communication Managers liaise and build deep partnerships with their regional eCommerce and Marketing teams to verify all local, social, and digital marketing efforts are effectively integrated with the selling efforts for the organization. This role also gets to do a little bit of everything, from balancing traditional and digital marketing and eCommerce activities to contributing to public relations (PR) activities for the hotel. Success is measured by how well they help drive the sales and revenue strategy of the property, social media engagement and also by how effectively leveraged the resources around them are to create truly compelling marketing and communications campaigns.

Apply data mining techniqes and conduct statistical analysis to large, structured and unstructured data sets to understand and analyse phenomena. • Builds machine learning models from and utilises distributed data processing and analysis methodologies. Competent in Machine Learning programming in R or Python, with supplementary still in Matlab, Java, etc. Familiar with the Hadoop distributed computational platform, including broader ecosystem of tools such as HDFS / Spark / Kafka.
• Provides input into Data management and modelling infrastructure requirements and adheres to the organisations infrastructure development processes, including the management of User Acceptance Testing (UAT). Conducts regression testing across all relevant systems as required.
• Ensure business integration through integrating model outputs into end-point production systems, where requirements must be understood and adopted relating to data collection, integration and retention requirements incorporating business requirements and knowledge of best practices.
• Acts as a subject matter expert from a data science perspective and provides input into all decisions relating to data science and the use thereof. Educate the organisation on data science perspectives on new approaches, such as testing hypotheses and statistical validation of results. Ensure ongoing knowledge of industry standards as well as best practice and identify gaps between these definitions/data elements and organisation data elements/definitions.
• Directs the gathering of data for use in Data Science models, ensuring that chosen datasets best reflect the organisations goals. Qualifications

• First Degree in Information Technology, Information studies or related from a recognised Institution
• Post Graduate Degree in Information Technology, Information studies is preferred.

• 1-2 years proven development experience in software and software engineering. Experience in building models (credit scoring, propensity models, churn, etc.).
