Job Description:
JOB PURPOSE:
To conceptualize, plan for and produce TV programmes that educate, inform, entertain and earn revenue for Nation Media Group Uganda.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conceptualize programme ideas and come up with a storyboard and scripts for internal/external broadcasts and for clients.
- Create the overall aesthetic visual presentation and branding of assigned shows while following the programme guidelines and concept.
- Plans production with crew, clients, decides schedules and timelines.
- Liaises with the technical staff to produce raw footage for editing in conformity with the programme concept and client brief.
- Monitor in-house creative and technical units in the development, production and post-production of programmes.
- Create and manage the production budget of the assigned programme.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
Academic: University degree in Mass Communication or any related field from an accredited institution.
Professional: Diploma in TV Production is added advantage.
Required Experience: 3 years
